Lee R. Webber was born on August 12, 1966, to Lucy Lou (Smith) Webber and Lee Roy Webber, Sr. He passed away on March 10, 2026, in Vian, Oklahoma. Throughout his life, Lee dedicated himself to meaningful work, including positions at Whirlpool and People, Inc. Later, he embraced his cultural heritage by joining the Cherokee Nation Language Master Apprentice Program, contributing to the preservation of the Cherokee Nation Language and Culture. He was also a proud member of the Keetoowah Night Hawk

National Treasure and Cherokee Master Artist Dorothy Sullivan Dies at Age 87
Dorothy Ann Sullivan, a nationally recognized Cherokee artist, educator and cultural preservationist, passed from this life on Feb. 13, 2026, at the age of 87. She leaves behind not only a large and loving family but a body of work that will continue teaching Cherokee history for generations.
