Eastern Band Supreme Court Remands Domestic Violence Protective Order Case for New Findings
The Supreme Court of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians has remanded Alyssa Louise Roseman v. Zachary Quinn Roseman, a domestic violence protective order case, back to trial court for new findings under §50B-10. The court ruled that the lower court must provide detailed factual and legal reasoning for renewing the order. The existing protection remains active while the Cherokee Court issues a revised ruling.
