OKLAHOMA. Gen II Fire Protection, a Native-owned fire protection services company based in Oklahoma, continues to expand its regional footprint while earning national recognition for its comprehensive, client-focused approach to fire safety.

Owned by Muscogee Creek Nation citizen Bryan Drinnon II, Gen II Fire Protection was founded in 2018 and provides full-service commercial and industrial fire protection across Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, and Missouri. The company employs licensed technicians and offers 24/7 emergency service.

Gen II Fire Protection is certified as a tribally owned or individually owned federally recognized tribal business entity and is listed as a preferred fire protection vendor by six Oklahoma tribes: the Muscogee Creek Nation, Choctaw Nation, Cherokee Nation, Otoe-Missouria Tribe of Oklahoma, Absentee Shawnee Tribe, and Chickasaw Nation. The company also works within Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance frameworks when applicable.

In 2024, Gen II Fire Protection was recognized as one of the Top 10 Fire Protection Systems Providers by Real Estate Business Review, a national publication focused on commercial real estate and infrastructure services. The designation cited the company’s ability to deliver end-to-end fire protection solutions under one roof, eliminating the need for multiple vendors and reducing operational risk for property owners.

According to the publication, Gen II Fire Protection specializes in the design, installation, inspection, service, and maintenance of fire sprinklers, fire alarms, fire suppression systems, and fire extinguishers, providing a true one-stop shop for fire safety needs.

“Our commitment to reliability and efficiency gives us an edge over the competition,” Drinnon said in the feature. “We are one of the few privately and locally owned fire protection companies in Oklahoma that offers all services and solutions under one roof.”

During a recent interview with Cherokee 411, Drinnon said maintaining direct communication with clients and keeping services in house allows his company to respond quickly, maintain consistent quality, and build long-term trust.

Gen II Fire Protection primarily serves commercial and industrial clients, with limited residential work for large or complex properties. Services include fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms, fire extinguishers, kitchen hood and specialty fire suppression systems, inspections, repairs, and emergency response.

The Real Estate Business Review profile also highlighted Gen II Fire Protection’s investment in technology and workforce development. The company uses advanced software to track inspections, scheduling, compliance requirements, and site-specific information, allowing clients real-time access to inspection reports and improving communication between technicians and customers.

Technicians log detailed information for each customer location, ensuring continuity of service and informed decision-making during future inspections or emergency calls. Gen II Fire Protection also proactively contacts clients to schedule required maintenance, helping businesses stay compliant with local and national fire codes.

Ongoing training is a priority, with licensed professionals staying current on evolving regulations and industry standards. The company has completed complex, site-specific projects, including custom-engineered suppression systems for specialized facilities where previous providers failed to meet safety or operational requirements.

As Gen II Fire Protection continues to grow, the company is preparing to launch a redesigned website during the week of Jan. 19, 2026, aimed at improving access to service information and online quote requests.

“Our mission is to exceed the quality, honesty, and service standards expected by our customers,” Drinnon said. “If we do not take care of our customers the way they expect and deserve, someone else will.”
