Brenda Leigh Smallin has entered into the Lords Arms in Heaven
on October 8, 2025
She was born on September 24th, 1964. She was a Cherokee Nation Member.
She was Married and had a boy who they named Zachary West.
She was a tom-boy at heart growing up as a little girl.
She enjoyed life as she knew it through the struggles of heart disease
and cancer, in addition to surviving COVID. She loved wolves and
dolphins, as well as watching football. Her favorite team was the
Miami Dolphins. She also loved going to plays.
She was part of a bowling league. She enjoyed firefighting and being
a paramedic.
She was a manager at Burger king and worked for Walmart. She later
in life transitioned into a cleaning service with her friend to support
her community.
She went to Columbia College in Columbia California.
She entered the military as a Navy Officer for Desert Shield as a
medic.
Her favorite color is Saffire Blue
Her favorite food was crab. She enjoyed crab feeds when there were
some.
She enjoyed various casino’s.
Her favorite place to visit was Monterey Bay where she enjoyed the
beaches and serenity.
She is preceded in death by her parents Betty and Millard Smallin as
well as her Sister Susan Smallin. She is survived by her two older
siblings, Myron Smallin and Kandellyn Smallin, her son Zach West,
and nephews Jeremy Smallin, Joshua Ramponi, and Matt Smallin.
Services will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park 14165 Beckman
Road, Lodi, California on December 17th at 11:30am.
