Edwin “Eddie”, “Honka”, or “Doo” Dennison Thompson, 78, of Tahlequah, OK gained his wings on April 27, 2026. He was born on April 13, 1948, a Choctaw citizen, in Talihina, OK to James and Catherine (Wallen) Thompson.
Eddie graduated from Sequoyah High School, then was drafted into the United States Army to fight in the Vietnam War. After his service he was Honorably Discharged as a Vietnam Veteran, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, also earning a Sharpshooter M-14 and Expert M-16 Badge.
