According to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, Justin Floyd Qualls (a/k/a Jay Qualls), 40, of Muldrow, was convicted by a federal jury in August 2025.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
