CATOOSA, Okla. — The Hard Rock Casino and Hotel was ruled safe early Sunday morning after receiving an anonymous bomb threat late Saturday night, according to Cherokee Nation Entertainment.

The threat was called in around 10 p.m., prompting the casino’s security team to immediately begin standard bomb-threat protocols. Officials said they believed early in the investigation that the threat was not credible but continued full safety procedures out of caution.
No evacuations were ordered, and the facility remained secure throughout the incident. By approximately 1 a.m., the building was cleared and declared safe.
The Cherokee Nation Marshal Service and the Catoosa Police Department responded and assisted as part of established bomb-threat protocol.
Cherokee Nation Entertainment said guest safety remained the top priority during the investigation.
